Back to November at The Wall house!!

We started off November with one of my best friends weddings!!  It was a wonderful weekend and a wonderful wedding!  She was an absolutely stunning bride and the day was gorgeous!!

The following weekend we had yet another wedding!  One of Brian's fraternity brothers and good friends Mike got married!  Their wedding was just as gorgeous and the weather was phenomenal!!
The Sunday after I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my dear friends Megan Denton.  She is married to one of Brian's good friends and we have become great friends over the years as well!  Their baby girl is due in January!!!

The next weekend we had our friends from New Jersey in town!  We met them on our honeymoon and instantly became friends!  We took them around some of our favorite places in KC and then of course to a K-State Football game!!  It was a wonderful weekend!!

Then came Thanksgiving!  We hosted, and my whole family and parts of Brian's were there!  It went wonderfully!  I couldn't have asked for a better time spent with my family and his!  Only down side was that I got a little head cold that lasted like 4 days and I am still trying to kick it!

Now that brings us to December!  Holy smokes November was fast and furious, just the way I like it!

This month I turn 30!  Which I thought I would be sad or not happy about but I am excited!  I am excited to see what 30 brings this year!  29 was such an amazing year I just know that 30 will continue to be fabulous!

Then we have Christmas and New Years!!  Love this time of year!  Our house is all decorated and ready for Santa:)  Yes, Santa does come to our house!!  You have to believe to receive right?!

Here are some fun pictures from November and a little peak at our house in December.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Goodmorning and Happy St. Patricks Day!  This day is very special to B and I because we met 4 years ago on St. Patricks Day...What an amazing day that was and look where it has lead us!

This is from St. Patricks Day 2011

Today we are taking it easy and relaxing at home with our puppies enjoying our family day. Sundays are family day at our house.   We ALWAYS have dinner together, clean, do laundry, you know fun stuff like that:)  I wish it was better weather out for all the parade goers today but I am sure they are all still out there having a GREAT time!

This last weekend was so much fun being at the Big 12 Tournament!  I am so so proud of my Wildcats!  They had a fabulous season and I can't wait for the post season.  We will find out tonight where we are starting the tournament at.  Fingers crossed for first round here in KC.

Cassie and I at the K-State pep rally before the Big game!

I will be traveling to the beautiful city of Los Angeles this Thursday to visit my dear friend Molly and her husband Alex.  Meg, Kate, and I will be leaving Thursday and returning Sunday.  I can't wait to see her and have a girls weekend plus Alex:)  I will post pictures and possibly blog about the trip while I am there but if I don't I will definitely catch everyone up when I return!!!!

Happy Sunday and St. Patty's Day!  Make sure you have your green on and lets all celebrate the Irish!

Love,
The future Mrs. Wall

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2013 is here....

Hello!  I have been MIA for a while, I apologize!  Brian and I have had an extremely busy December!  As you all know we went to Hawaii for a week this month, and oh my what a wonderful time it was..Some of the highlights of our trip include:

*Hiking to the top of Diamond Head- Brian just loved this:) We walked 4 miles back to our hotel AFTER the hike! hehe
*Pearl Harbor
*Sightseeing in Oahu
*Watching the sunrise at the top of Haleakala and then biking down- also an adventure, woke up at 230 in the morning, bus broke down on the way, super cold to super hot but totally worth it.  Ok so the Van broke down on the way up there and apparently it had done the same thing a couple days before...so...don't you think you should fix the van?  Well apparently they didn't feel the need?  WTF?  It turned out great in the end but seriously?
* My 29th Birthday
* relaxing
* the amazing Seafood (especially Mama's Fish House)
* Road to Hana (absolutely gorgeous)
*Brian and I picked out our first piece of Art together...this was so fun for us to do together and we both agreed on a piece and LOVE it!!  Something so fun to do together as a couple for our home:)

It has taken me a while to adjust back to Kansas time from Hawaii time and with Christmas thrown in there everything has been crazy!!

I usually like to take the week between Christmas and New Year's off work but because of our trip I didn't have any vacation left.  The reason I like to do this is because that week is ABSOLUTE madness at the dentist office.  Holy crap.  I would like to think that people are more responsible about their health and get their appointments done before the last week of the year but oh no we have people call in all day everyday that week to see if they can get in before their benefits run out.  OK come on people lets get real here, just because you failed to use your benefits doesn't constitute an emergency on my end.  We try and accomodate people as much as possible but we can only do so much and after last week I was wiped out.

2012 was a wonderful year, Brian and I are very blessed.
Best Moments of this last year:

~GETTING ENGAGED!!!
~Cotton Bowl in Dallas
~Brian's Surprise 30th Birthday
~Boston and the Red Sox game
~Philadelphia
~Denver
~HAWAII
~Our new puppy Reese
~An amazing season for Kansas State Football

We hope that 2013 will bring even more memories and blessed times.  We are kicking things off right with a trip to the Fiesta Bowl to watch K-State take on Oregon!!!

Its going to be a fast and furious year with our wedding in July!

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve and we will see you in 2013!!!  More fun blogging to come in the New Year!!!!

Some fun Photos to leave you with:

HOLIDAY ARE HERE!!!

I hope everyone had a FABULOUS Thanksgiving!  Brian and I have so much to be thankful for this year!  We are extremely thankful for our families, friends, jobs, health, and our two puppies Jordy and Reese!  Yes we got Jordy a little sister!  She is a Morkie named Reese.  At first Jordy was not so sure about Reese but we caught them cuddling the other day while taking a nap:)  Most precious thing ever!  Reese is quite different than Jordy.  She is very calm and relaxed, while we all know that Jordy is a little crazy and spastic!! haha...Thank god they have different personalities because two pups like Jordy might have killed me:)

I took the two of them to Land of Paws last week to get a few things and holy crap I seriously felt like one of those moms with a toddler running wild and a baby crying!  Jordy was literally pulling me she was so excited and Reese had her paws out NOT moving so of course I am dragging her across the floor being pulled in two different directions..whew not doing that again for a while!

The Schartz/Wall house is all decorated and ready for Christmas!  I had so much fun decorating this year!  It took me all day Friday and most of the morning on Saturday but its done and I love it!  I will take pictures this evening and post them:)  This was my last Thanksgiving as a Schartz and this will be my last Christmas with the Schartz last name:)  Sad and exciting all at once!  Of course I will ALWAYS be a Schartz but you know I will be Mrs. Wall hehe...

Brian and I leave for Hawaii in 10 days!!  WE are so excited, I can't believe its actually here and I will be turning 29 while we are there!  Yikes how did I get so old so fast!!  I have a love hate relationship with my age because its scary getting older, but I absolutely love my life and where I am at right now.

I was absolutely devastated when K-State lost to Baylor a couple weeks ago.  I literally cried and went straight to bed and didn't talk to anyone until the next day.  I was heartbroken.  I even forgot that I was suppose to have a drink with a friend after the game!!  Completely forgot until the next afternoon!!  Sheesh apparently I was a bit self involved:)  I know thats a bit extreme of me with the tears and all but I really love my Wildcats!! haha....  BUT hey I am over it now and am looking forward to the game this weekend vs. Texas!!  A win and we clench the Big 12 Title!!  Let's do this Cats!!

Happy Election Day!

Happy Tuesday and Election day here in America!!  If you are like me then you are extremely HAPPY this day is here so we can STOP hearing all the political ads!  yay!  Plus its going to be a gorgeous day today here in Kansas!!

Ok so I ran my 4th half marathon a few weeks ago, remember the one that I was suppose to run a FULL marathon?  Ya that one, and I ran my best time yet!  2 hours and 7 minutes.  I so wanted to run it in under 2 hours and was on pace for a while but then I just couldn't go any faster for a few miles so I just kept going and did my best!  The end threw me too because when I turned the corner to run the last .2 miles it was uphill!  What a mean trick to put at the end of 13.1 miles! haha anyways I finished and I was very happy with my run and my hip felt great!  I've been going to the chiropractor and it has helped tons!

More importantly how about those KANSAS STATE WILDCATS!!! #2!!  Very proud to be a Wildcat everyday and extremely proud now!  The team is doing so well, I hope they keep up the good work!

Thanksgiving this year will be held at the Schartz/Wall household again!  I LOVE hosting Thanksgiving and of course any other kind of party!  Brian and I just really enjoy making sure everyone can enjoy their holiday and relax.

One story from work I need to share real quick.  So we all know teenagers can be little assholes.  Well today I had a patient who does not brush his teeth at all, and you think I am joking but trust me I'm not!  Along with not brushing he does not open his mouth big enough for me to get my job done.  Well I have a very low tolerance for people not cooperating while I am trying to do my job.  Also I'm pretty sure he doesn't shower either, so bascially his hygiene in general is non existent.   So after about the 6th time I told him to open wider, he is also making weird noises and gagging a little while I'm working, I stopped and I told him that I didn't care if he brushes his teeth at home and I don't care if you lose your teeth because you don't brush them, BUT when you are here you are going to open your mouth so I can do my job.  He opened his mouth after that.  Little jerk, I could have punched him but that might have gotten me fired so I refrained:)

Still waiting on engagement photos but as soon as my photographer gets them to me I will post them!!

Back to clean some more teeth.  Pray there are no more sucky teenagers today!!!!

Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

I hope you all have a very safe holiday!  Brian and I are excited to have a day off to relax and enjoy  with Brady and other family.

Brady has been here since Sunday and we are having a blast so far.  He is very helpful with Jordy and things around the house.  I will be getting him some firecrackers for us to blow up tomorrow:)  I think I am just as excited as he is about this!  I used to LOVE popping firecrackers as a kid!

I WILL get some pictures posted from the past week tonight I promise!  Its was a crazy week getting back in the swing of things after vacation.

Baby Miles Graham (Lainee and Justin Graham's new baby) was born on June 28th.  He is absolutely perfect and I couldn't be more excited for their family.  Congratulations!

Have a wonderful Tuesday and I will be back tonight with pictures!

Anyone have any big plans for the 4th??
