Monday Monday

Happy Monday everyone!  I woke up today feeling awesome!!  Alarm went off at 4:50 am and went to workout at 5:30 am!  On the way home from working out I felt like I needed a good quote to start the rest of the day.  Here is what I found!

Pretty sure I rocked this saying this morning!!  Plus it's Brian and I's 6 month anniversary!!  We have successfully been married for 6 months and are STILL married!!!  I'll put that in the win column! haha!!  Now everyone should make today and everyday amazing!  I try and find at LEAST 5 things that are fabulous about each day, even when the day is pretty darn shitty.  Trust me we all have those kind of days.  I read or heard somewhere to say 5 things out loud that you are thankful for each day.  Things like..I'm thankful for having heat in my house or the cashier at the grocery store.  Small everyday things to remind yourself of how much good there is in the world!!!  So last Tuesday I was thankful for one of my favorite bartenders, for being so understanding and kind.  Here is what happened.

My friends and I were having our usual Tuesday wine night, when I did the most embarrassing thing!!!  We were laughing, joking, gulping sipping some wine and catching up, we hadn't seen each other in like three weeks!!  So much can happen in that amount of time especially around the holidays.  You ladies know how this goes.  Plus you add some wine in there and the words start flowing and sometimes tears.  Not this time though!! We could have talked all night.  After we eat, chat, have some more wine we finally decide to head home since we all have to work the next day, overrated if you ask me but none the less.  We walk out to leave, still chatting uncontrollably, all the way to our cars. Then I am driving home just happy as a clam when I suddenly think in my head, Holy sh*t I think I just dined and dashed!!

I call Kate, because she is friends with the people that work there and have her call to check and see if I paid or not, I was too embarrassed to call myself.  She called me back and said, "um ya you didn't pay."  Haha what in the world was I thinking!!!  I called and thank god our bartender answered, I immediately started apologizing and she was really sweet about it and we got it all taken care of but I am still embarrassed that I dined and dashed, NO I wine, dined, and dashed, even worse!!!!  I was that person!  At least it was at a place where they know me and know that I would NEVER do that on purpose.  The bartender just laughed at me and told me she knew I didn't mean to, she knew I was just having a good time and didn't even think about it before I left, even though my bill was right in front of me!!! Very embarrassing and so not ideal!

Still embarrassed and laughing about it today.  I wine, dined and dashed!  I just keep saying it because I can't believe it!  I wine, dined and dashed!!!  Now every time I go out to eat I will be paranoid about paying.

Has anyone else ever dined and dashed on accident?!  I realize that sounds a bit weird but I surely am not the only ditz out there that would accidently do this.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Monday and don't forget to:

Wine Night

Tuesday.
I love Tuesdays.  Let me tell you why.  But first my Dad's 60th Birthday is today!!!  Happy Birthday Dad!!!  I hope you have an amazing day!!

This is one of my favorite pictures of my Dad and I at my wedding:)

And here we are again Dancin the night away!!!

Ok on to why I love Tuesdays so much.  Well it is much better than Monday, but first and foremost its my Wine Night.  4 years ago one of my best friends and I started going to Houlihans on Tuesdays for dinner and wine because they have half price bottles of wine every Tuesday!!  What better way to spend a Tuesday!!  We started and have never stopped!  Anyone is more than welcome to join us on any given Tuesday.  About 2 years ago Kate started joining us.  At first Kate didn't really understand the significance of Wine Night.  Like you don't miss wine night for a date...or for anything really! haha..sorry Kate its true.  But she caught on and rarely misses now:)  It's our one night a week that we always know we get to see each other and catch up.  This is very important to each of us as our lives continue to become busier and busier every year.  It's Tuesday.  That means its wine night.  If we for some reason don't have wine night Brian asks me if everything is ok? haha it's our girl time enough said.  If you know me you know this is what I do on Tuesdays.  My coworker actually just walked in my room and said, "You going to wine night tonight?" haha great timing!

Most of the time we laugh, but sometimes we cry and even yell depending on our moods.  Meg doesn't really yell, she leaves that to Kate and I.   We have concluded that wine night is way cheaper than therapy, because who doesn't need therapy every now and then right?  We just talk about our feelings together.  We know that as our lives continue to change we may not be able to do wine night every Tuesday like we have been but we have decided to do it as much as we possibly can, it may turn into every other week, I hope not but realistically it may and we have prepared for it.  We don't ALWAYS go to Houlihans for wine night.  We have gone to Royals games, bowling, and even sometimes just have it at my house.  Where ever we are we are just glad to be together.  Here are some fun pictures from a few wine nights.

This is last December for my  Birthday.
