September..A Month to Remember

Happy Monday Friends!

September was definitely a month to remember!  Tons of wonderful things happened.

First off, Fall (Of course)

Second, my Dad turned the big 6-0 and Brian's Dad turned the big 6-0

Third, Brian's sister Kellie and her husband Ryan welcomed their beautiful baby boy Austin Timothy Erlacher into this crazy wonderful world.  He was born on Papa Ron's birthday, September 28th!  He is just perfect and I am so incredibly happy for the Erlacher Family!

Birthday Twins!!  haha love everything about this photo collage EXCEPT that Mizzou thing.

Fourth, we got to find out that the Denton Family is welcoming a baby GIRL into the world!!  We couldn't be more excited for them!!

At Baby D's gender reveal...GIRL..pink.pink.pink

Jordy & Reese hosted their first boy/girl slumber party with their boyfriend Oliver.  Poor Oliver, that's all I have to say.  He is a trooper.  Those girls definitely gang up on him haha, but they all had such a great time!

This Picture cracks me up!!  Slumber party!!!  Reese is the antagonizer of the group which is why she is being contained by B.

Last Thursday I had a girls night with Ashley.  We had such a great time!  She has her very own shellac machine!! What!?  And she offered to let me use it on my nails!  It was so easy and way cheaper than going to the nail salon!  Thanks Ash for letting me hangout do my nails:)

Finished product!  Love!!

October begins tomorrow!!!  I have already had a few honeycrips apples, my favorite, but they are even better in October!  Tomorrow I will be putting out my Halloween stuff.  I don't have much just a wreath that I Megan made, I helped a little though:)  and a few pumpkin glitter things!!
Happy October, Go Cats and Chiefs!!!!

Friends, Football, Weddings...Happiness

Happy Monday everyone!!!  It's still so stinkin HOT outside!  I hope that this weather cools off soon.  85 would be better than 102!!  I mean seriously I love warm weather but sweating my booty off at the football games on Saturday is not as much fun as it may sound! haha..ready for some Fall football weather!!

This weekend was jam packed for the Walls.  I worked on Friday (which I don't normally do) then headed straight for McPherson to go to one of my best friends bridal showers!  It was such a fantastic 24 hours in my hometown.  I got to spend some great quality time with two of the most important women in my life.  First I went to Abbey's house to hangout with her and her family...Her girls are so adorable!  I just love them to pieces.  I had the privilege of helping them take their baths and get ready for bed and then we snuggled on the couch before they had to go to their room to sleep.  It melted my heart to get to spend such quality time with them.

After that I got to spend quality time with the Bride to be and her daughter.  It was such a wonderful evening.  We had some great girl talk and the chance to catch up one on one which is super hard to do these days when we live so far away from each other.  Saturday was the day of the big shower.  It was a wonderful shower.  Lots of presents, great food, and amazing company.  It made me really miss home and want to move back...only for a split second though:)

The shower was over at noon and I immediately headed for Manhattan to meet B and my sister and nephew for the Kstate game!  We all had such a great time!  I love, love, love having my sister and nephew at the games with us.  It made my day when they told me they bought season tickets this year with my dad!!!  This week the game ended better than last week!  Thank goodness!!

Tomorrow is my Dad's Birthday!!! Happy Happy Birthday Dad!!  He is turning 30 wink wink.  I wish I could be there with him to celebrate his big day!!

Here are some pics from the weekend.

Viv havin a blast Friday evening.

Mr. & Mrs. Wall

Mr. & Mrs. Brian Wall
Est. July 13, 2013

What an amazing day our wedding day was!  I want to thank EVERYONE who helped make this possible!!  And thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate!  The day was truly wonderful and we are so thankful and feel so blessed.

We went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon.  This place is beyond gorgeous.  So luscious.  The flowers are so vibrant and the grass and trees so green.  We had the best time together.  A lot of our time was spent relaxing by the pool or the beach  and reading.  We did enjoy tons of  delicious food, including local fruit (to die for).  Almost everyone at our hotel was on their honeymoon so it was fun to meet other newlyweds and make new friends.  We even had a double date with a couple we met from New Jersey.  They were the sweetest and most fun couple.  It's so nice to know that wherever you are their are good exciting people.

Thursday we spent the day exploring St. Lucia.  This was so cool.  We had a tour guide named Wayne that was fun, exciting, and eager to tell us about is country.  We saw a boa constrictor snake, I had my picture taken with it, Brian said He** no! haha.  We got to take a mud bath.  This was my favorite part of the day.  We went to the sulfur volcano and there was a pool where the water was 100 degrees, we got in and made sure our bodies were ready to have mud put all over them.  We got to rub the mud onto each others skin.  We used the white mud so it wouldn't stain our clothes, thanks to our tour guide for getting us all white mud!  It smelled like sulfur, obviously because we were at a sulfur volcano.  After the mud had completely dried we got back into the hot water and rinsed off everything except our faces.  It was exfoliating in nature.  So cool.  We then got back in our jeep and headed to a waterfall.  The waterfall was ABSOULUTELY freezing but so worth getting in. We got to get in and rinse off all the sulfur smell with fresh spring water.  It was an amazing experience.

Everything about our honeymoon was fantastic.  We are now home and enjoying married life together:)  We had our first steak night as Mr. and Mrs. Wall last night and that was awesome!

Next up in the Wall house we are preparing for Football Season!!  It is coming so soon and we can not wait!  Wishing my Wildcats an amazing season this year!!!!

Hope everyone has a fabulous last few days of July!  August is here.  And also I have to comment on the weather!  It was absolutely gorgeous this weekend.  High 70's in July?  I'll take it!

Love, Mrs. Wall
(haha that was my favorite part of this post)

Pictures of the honeymoon are posted on Facebook right now, as well as some wedding pics!  Once I get the wedding picture link in a week or two I will post it on here for you all to look at if you would like!

Accident :(

Hello everyone and Happy Rainy Thursday!  It is almost June! Where has the time gone? Seriously?
A week ago today I had an accident and the last week has been pretty rough.

Brian and I are on a softball team that plays on Thursday evenings.  It's just for fun and if you know me at all you know I am NOT good at softball! lol..but its something fun we do with friends and have done the last couple years.  We had a game last Thursday at 8:15pm.   I play right field (thats how good I am) haha...Except on this particular night I guess I decided to try and be a star and catch a line drive that was hit straight to me.  BUT instead of catching it with my glove I caught it with my face!  I dropped to the ground and blood was gushing EVERYWHERE.  My first thought was that I was going to be blind!!!

Brian was right next to me on the field and ran over to me, they called 911 and had an ambulance come and get me and take me to the emergency room.  My face was swollen so huge I was unrecognizeable on my left side.  I looked like Monica off of friends when she puts on a fat suit!  YIKES...it hurt like hell.  I was so upset because well its never ideal to be hit in the face with a softball but also we are getting married in 50 days at this point!  So not ideal to have this happen anytime, let alone right before our wedding.

They had to do a cat scan and a scan on my face to see if I had any brain injuries or broken bones in my face.  The scan came back and I had 4 broken bones in my face:(  I had to be sent to the trauma center at Overland Park Regional.  It was about midnight at this point.  We got OP Regional and they had to do some more tests etc., they put me on pain meds, I had to have a tetanus shot (ouch) and then they had to stitch my eye up because it was split above and below my eye!!

I got LOTS of drugs and eye drops to help with the pain and make sure my eye didn't swell and help resolve the blood that was in my eye.  I went to the eye doctor the next day to have everything checked out.  Thank goodness everything with my eye was going to be ok.  My vision is still blurry in my left eye today but the doc said that is normal.

I also had to make an appointment to see a plastic surgeon to see if I needed any surgery on my face due to the blowout of my zygoma.. I had to wait until my swelling went down, so we had an appointment yesterday and he gave me the bad news that I had to have surgery to repair my eye socket, pretty much, because if I didn't my eye would droop later in life (aint nobody got time for that)  So I was pretty dissapointed that I have to have surgery but things could have been a LOT worse and I am so thankful that everything is going to be ok and that its all fixable.  Who knew I would have to have plastic surgery at 29? haha

So I am having surgery next Tuesday June 4th at 7am.  I will be out of work/physical activity for at least 2 weeks.  I am going to go CRAZY!!!  I can't workout and that just kills me, but thats alright as long as my face heals.

My nephew Brady was coming to spend the weekend with us last weekend and it ended up being really good that he was here because B needed some help taking care of me and the dogs and the house.  Brian was AMAZING!!  He took such great care of me and is a wonderful nursmaid!  Very strict too:)  But thats a good thing.  I felt so damn lucky and blessed to be marrying such a wonderful man and know that no matter what he will take care of me.  Such an amazing feeling.  And Brady was such a great help around the house and with me!!!!  He rocked!!

All of my family/friends/and coworkers have been so wonderful.  I can't thank everyone enough for being there for me and coming to see me and help out etc...  My work has been awesome and I know that they really care about me which is so great.  So pray that my surgery goes well on Tuesday.  I am looking so much better a week later so hopefully in a few weeks I will be as good as new:)

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!!!

Busy Bees

Happy Tuesday!! Well B and I had a very busy/productive weekend last weekend.

I mulched our front flower beds with new black mulch.   The area looks a thousand times better!  I cleaned out all the deadness and added new!  Amazing what a fresh layer of mulch can do! It was hard work though.  Those bags of mulch are heavy, good thing I workout:), and apparently I needed way more than the six bags I bought the first time! haha..I had to go back and buy 12 more! Luckily they were on sale at Home Depot for $2 a bag! Cheap!  While I mulched B mowed the yard, And then after he mowed he decided we needed a new lawn mower.  Which we did, but he did this while I was napping.  Note to self: Don't let B go to Home Depot alone!!

We also cleaned out our garage on Saturday.  It was necessary!  I feel so much better now when I get in my car or even step into the garage, it was filled with so much crap that was just trash.  Ughh gross.

Inside I did a MAJOR Spring cleaning session.  I deep cleaned everything and purged anything that we don't use or was old or expired etc. you get the picture.  It felt amazing!  Again lots of time and hard work but so worth it!

Last Thursday we had the tasting for the food we will be serving at our wedding.  It was such a great time.  We picked some amazing food so I hope people enjoy what we chose.  If not...well tough luck haha.

This week is more wedding decisions and home projects!!! I can't wait to get some of the home projects done.  It will just make our house look nicer and upgrade it a little more.

Next up: quote from Hardwood floor guy!

Oh yes and Jordy tried to commit suicide.  I am just not sure why she keeps wanting to run away or kill herself?  Maybe its because of Reese?  haha nah..who knows but, she got her self stuck under our deck and we had to rip apart the deck and sacrifice her collar and leash to free her.  So I guess we will need either a new or repaired deck now too! Fabulous.

Hope everyone has a great week!!!!
